i really didnt expect that much quality from an free itch game

(1 edit) (+2)

Game was really put together well. I was hoping that it could've been more longer since the storyline was very interesting.

(+2)

I was recommended this & I chose to stream it in my indie horrors stream.

I was very impressed with the animation, the story was good, the mystery. I liked how there wasn't jumpecares, there was a subtle one, a moment that did make me jump.

I hope we see what more you bring to the table! Here is my live stream! I also got both endings.

Def one of the most well put together games on itch! I cannot wait to see what you do next, and make it full price you deserve it

Thank you for this game. I enjoyed it a lot, the art style was so so good and I wish there was like an 2 hour long story to this. The scenery was set so perfectly. Such a good game.

Amazing. Loved the art style. Left me wishing there was more.

8.6/10 - A special game that blew me away, (2/3 hours), This game is a work of art and you can see the amount of work put into every aspect of this game. Whether it's the story, the visuals, the location, the small details and how alive the world feels.

There is always something going on whether it's small story elements on the radio or people doing something outside your apartment, these details change after you do something and it makes the world feel alive. I loved reading all the newspaper articles and I spent a lot of time just looking at all the small details, these things made the world feel so real. I also really enjoyed the Eastern Block setting as there's references to multiple countries in that area. Going into this game blindly and seeing how the story progressed was an experience that I thoroughly enjoyed and I'm so impressed by the people who created this game as it's a concentrated and alive world with so many details. There are also creepy horror elements across this game that make you feel slightly uneasy but there's nothing scary in this game, but the idea of this game can definitely be considered as scary.

There are 2 endings that really differ, I suggest that you play both as they are both key to understanding the story! I do wish the endings were slightly expanded on but this is the only small gripe I have about the game!

Found a very strange bug (nothing too gamebreaking - but REALLY weird)

I started the game - and then went AFK right at the start, on the balcony.

After about half an hour I came back - and I suddenly found myself stuck inside the balcony window, with my head in the ceiling, almost as if I was thrown upwards into the wall - it was very strange. Couldn't move an inch and had to restart the game.

Super weird bug.

Cool game tho

(+1)

It's not a bug, it's a secret ending ;)

This was really cool, I love how detailed all the environment are and the retro visuals are very nice. Fascinating story that genuinely left me wanting more of this weird universe the game is set in, I feel like a horror game set in the industries or the flooded mine (kinda in the style of Chernobyl Liquidators) would work really well just due to the creepy and unsettling atmosphere of having the unknown as the fear factor. Seriously, great job! I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for any new games from you!

One of the best games I've ever played from Itch. Fantastic work!

Pain... pain is the word i would describe what this man has been through, atrocious act have been committed and a devastating retribution has been brought itself upon the Overseer. Thy must weep in the hands of true redemption.

Also made a video on it, it was cool.

This game is a work of art, congratulations! I would love to help you make it known to a wider audience. I translate video games from English to Italian. You can contact me here or through my website micolpennese.com, if you are interested. You deserve the best, it is a fantastic game! Keep it up:)

It's one of the best games I've played this month. The grunge and retro art style give it an eerily creepy vibe, and while I'm not sure if it has more than two endings, it’s an impressive experience overall! I hope it gains more recognition.

(+4)

Wow, I'm seriously blown away. I almost never donate on itch.io, but skipping this one would feel wrong. I had an awesome time for that whole hour—so here’s my $5!

I’ve always dreamed of making a game with a similar vibe (post-Soviet / depressing / surreal) and that retro/PSX/pixel-art style is totally my thing. Not only did I love playing this, but you’ve inspired me to try something of my own. You've also proved that even with a retro style, UE5 lighting can make it look incredible. Big thanks!

P.S. Could you also give an estimate of how many months it took to make this game, if possible?

(+4)

Thank you so much!! Super happy to hear that you enjoyed my little game and even got inspired by it, wishing you all the best with your project ♥

As for the time estimates it's hard to say precisely, I worked on this game afterhours ( I do have a fultime job) for about two years with a long time gaps in development. I'd say all the time spent on it condensed would probably be something like a year of work

(+2)

Amazing game really enjoyed it from the start to finish the graphics are great can't wait to play many more of your games

The booklet is really nice

(+2)

This game was so GOOD! I loved the unsettling atmosphere, the world building, and how story heavy this experience was. Definitely one of the best indie horror titles I've played this year.
